Abstract
Hidden in a corner of the writings of Leonardo da Vinci, there are sketched two structures of self sustaining domes made from sticks without any clamping element. Rediscovered and studied by Rinus Roelofs, recently a work group from the MMACA Association has developed on this concept and designed 11 dif- ferent patterns. We are taking this activity to schools, museum workshops and street fairs. This activity is spectacular, attractive and adaptable to all ages, we can even work with groups of five year old.
