that we're gonna focus more on the text but anyway the regional conservation strategy is an initiative of the intertwined alliance it's focusing on bio biodiversity conservation so why why did we take this on of there's been number of individuals in this region that been working on this for decades organizations have been working out for decades knowing that the importance of conservation goes beyond political boundaries on and there's been a lot of efforts the the problem is there's been no effort that sorta compute com prize of the whole region we've had a statewide efforts we've had citywide great prioritization efforts we regional effort by the Nature Conservancy but again nothing sort of comprise of the whole area and that was a challenge when we went to funding from and sort of try to share our vision of so 1 of our main things some the reasons we did this was to create that shared vision for biodiversity conservation to increase the impact of our work to connect jurisdictions and existing planning efforts and funding opportunities which 1 the arrow response the the the right
so it's really comprises 3 main elements get the real conservation strategy which is 161 page document that really outlines a number of different chapters from biodiversity core words climate change existing conditions it's a great resource that we have available for everybody there's the biodiversity died which is a 360 page document the which is also you know this is the science behind the RCS and so the available online and and there really there's no small effort is a year project 161 volunteers writers it for this 75 different organizations so a big effort then we got the habitat modelling and the data output we also have a executive summary which any of you guys can take 1 here I got few we had the RCS you the the but worst fit at so

Abstract The Intertwine Alliance has formed a Regional Conservation Strategy (RCS) for the area surrounding Portland, Oregon.
