Systems like the Emergency Environmental System (EES), which helps to identify and warn about environmental disasters.Other systems, in development at Remote Sensing Center at IBAMA, using a large open database of geospatial data, shows data on deforestation in the major biomes in Brazil in real time.In 2014, the Remote Sensing Center team began collaborating with others projects, giving back contributions to the FOSS community.
