Dieser Schleimfisch ernährt sich von Plankton, totem Fischfleisch und Fischhautbissen lebender Fische. Dabei ahmt er den in Symbiose lebenden Putzer-Lippfisch nach, versucht seine "Putz"-Opfer zu täuschen und beißt daraufhin Hautstückchen heraus.
This blenny feeds on plankton, dead fish and skin pieces of living fish. It imitates the cleaning fish to deceive its victim and bites out pieces of skin.
