James D. Watson talks to Detlev Ganten about his discovery of the DNA-Structure, genetic modell-systems, ethical questions of genetic engineering, the human-genome-project, cancer- and brain-research as well as the role of new media in education. The nobelprize-winner of 1963 relates to Francis Crick, Linus Pauling, Max Delbrück and other scientists, who have influenced him.
