Nach dem Dampfpflug-Zweimaschinensystem wird ein Kipp-Pflug zwischen zwei Seiltrommelstationen über das Feld gezogen. Jede der beiden Stationen wird durch zwei Dampflokomobilen gebildet, die im Verbund arbeiten. Der Pflug wird mit einer Pflugtiefe von über 1 m gezogen. Vor jedem Pflugrichtungswechsel fahren die Lokomobilen ein kleines Stück weiter.
