Begleitet von Trommeln und Gongs tanzen Angehörige des Glockenbundes auf dem Zeremonialplatz des Dorfes Agwada zu Ehren der heiligen Buschkuh. Die Knaben und jungen Männer bewegen sich in Paaren oder größeren Gruppen hintereinander über den Platz, vollführen Körperdrehungen und schwingen dabei große Glocken und Zibetkatzenfelle als Symbole der heiligen Buschkuh. The young men and boys of the Afo village of Agwada perform a dance with original movements, steps, and jumps to the accompaniment of drums and gongs. As the dancers move in a snake-like row they swing large iron bells and civet cat pelts as symbols of the sacred bush cow, their protectoral power. The performance is intended to make the bush cow happy and to drive evil spirits away. Recording speed 16 fps, projection speed 18 fps.
