In einem monatelangen Arbeitsprozeß fertigen die Former in der Saarburger Glockengießerei Mabilon eine dreiteilige Glockenform aus Lehm, die sie nach einer Schablone modellieren. Die Glockenform besteht aus dem Kern, der "Falschen Glocke" (dem Gußmodell), dem Mantel sowie der Krone.
