German	German In seiner mit oberschlächtigem Wasserrad betriebenen Schmiede, die zwei Platt- und zwei Streckhämmer besitzt, stellt der 63jährige August Correll ein Hackenblatt her: Absägen und Vorwärmen eines Stahlstücks, Plätten und Strecken, Einkerben, Aufspalten, Herstellen der Öse, Schleifen, Polieren.
English	English A length of steel is cut off, heated and, passing under a variety of water-powered hammers, made into a hoe blade. The film then shows the polishing processes applied to the blade.
