Marine plankton Lanzarote

All videos are produced on Lanzarote in co-operation with S/Y Eugen Seibold and Max-Planck-Institute for Chemistry, Mainz. Plankton samples were taken from the Eugen Seibold, using a Multinet or a Bongo net and additionally a hand net from the harbour pier at Marina Rubicon. Observation of samples and specimen take place in a holiday flat using Leica stereo-microscopes and a Zeiss Standard microscope. Videos were taken by Canon Eos 500D and (in 2022) Lumix GH5. All videos show alive organisms.
